Oh my gosh, somebody slap my hand! I can't believe it's been so long since I've done a blog post. Things have been busy, we're having a great year with some amazing weddings. I can't wait to share those with you, but first I promised myself I would catch up on posting all the other weddings on my list. So, grab a glass of wine, sit back and get ready for the bombardment of Real Wedding posts! Tons of fun details to share.
So let's start with Rachel and Tyler's wedding at Dunafon Castle!
Rachel wanted a contemporary look to her day, with a black, white and pink color palette, peonys (lots of peonys), and a touch of bling!
Her bouquets were lovely...did I mention all the peonies?
The guys did all right too ;)
Dunafon Castle is set a little out of the way, and we wanted to make sure everyone got there. So we started with a pre-ceremony cocktail.
Then it was off to the ceremony. Their dog was the ring bearer. When they told me they wanted to just let the dog run up the aisle I was a tad nervous. After all, what if she ran off and jumped in the lake with the rings? But she did great!!
I love a teary eyed bride!
Hey, more peonies...and a gorgeous setting for the ceremony!
We wanted to add a little fun to the end of the ceremony. So when the couple kissed we had the catering staff pop several champagne bottles.
Then it was off to cocktails...and for some the lake! Thank goodness this was after the ceremony!
Reception was partially indoors and part outdoors.
Rachel at Intricate Icings did an amazing job on both cakes. The groom played soccer, so the bride surprised him with a soccer ball grooms cake with his number on it.
Then we partied on the roof, dancing under the stars and hanging in the photobooth!
